ICR (Island Cash Registers) was founded in 1980 by Andy Phipps. Andy had many years experience in the cash register business during his
time with Chubb Electronics where he started work in 1968.
Establishing ICR in Ryde has progressed to become one of the major suppliers of cash registers on the Isle of Wight supplying many tens
of 1000s of registers to Island businesses over the years.
The ICRTouch EPOS software was developed in 2000 as the demand for quality software to meet the needs of today's business requirements grew.
ICRTouch has now grown to be a major software supplier in the UK with sales of ICRTouch now approaching 30,000 licences worldwide with over
98% exported from the island.
ICR (Island Cash Registers) is in a unique position where with the software development across the road in our Daish Way office where we
are able to interact with ideas & requests from our local clients.
